Here are the pages of my sketchbook where I focused on the idea of lacing, before I decided against it. Although I do like some of the designs, they are definitely not as strong as what they developed into. I think this idea could work but perhaps not with the clientele I am looking at, more of a younger market. A collaboration between and tailoring and contour (lingerie) student at LCF would be able to pull this idea off really well I think since they could make corset / jackets for example. That would be cool, I'd probably buy one.
