Final Garment Pattern Ideas

These are pattern ideas I found on google, potential fabrics for my final pieces, just an idea of what each pattern would look like as an overall suit.

Research; Black & White 60s Photography

While looking at Optical artists via the Tate website, I came across Edward Ruscha, an artist who worked mainly with graphics, photography and typography. The images stood out to me firstly because they work with my monochrome theme, but also because they almost look like patterns. The detail is amazing and I'm wondering if I could have them behind my illustrations as pattern ideas? The geometry and colour of them works so well with my concept, and the fact that they were taken in the 60s is a bonus! The only downside I suppose would be that they are views of America when I'm focused on British and Italian tailoring, but I can still work with that. I'm eager to play about with them as prints!
